MEIZHIYONG

In 2008, I began engaging in noise performance activities. Noise, for me, has been a highly intricate and enigmatic endeavor thus far, largely stemming from human nature. Countless times, I’ve embarked on performances with a weary body and laden baggage, each show seeming meaningful yet driven by a quest for fulfillment. It seems I am desperately trying to prove something. Amidst moments of solitude and reflection, what am I truly searching for? There, where there is no one, no breath, lies a black hole. Yet, inexplicably, I find myself drawn there… embracing life in the face of death.
